Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze on Thursday stressed the critical role of “peace, security, and stability” in achieving economic progress.
In his remarks at a Government meeting, Kobakhidze thanked the Ministry of Internal Affairs for its role in maintaining stability in the country.
“I would like to extend my gratitude personally to Minister Vakhtang Gomelauri. We all remember the developments of recent months and years - and without the dedication of the Interior Ministry, the Minister, and every police officer, we would not have been able to preserve stability. Without that, the country’s economic growth would not have been possible”, the PM noted.
“My thanks to Minister Gomelauri, and once again, to the entire economic team. It is our responsibility before the public to do everything possible to ensure the country’s further development”, Kobakhidze concluded.
