Georgian Foreign Minister Maka Botchorishvili on Monday said there was a growing awareness in Europe regarding the unfair treatment Georgia had been receiving.
In her interview with Imedi TV, Botchorishvili emphasised that it was also widely understood that relations were impossible without dialogue.
“We know how the Brussels and EU-related issues have been instrumentalized against Georgia, leading to the development of punitive measures, where the EU issue plays a central role. This is part of the so-called 'sulking' position from Brussels, where they seemingly avoid high-level engagements with Georgia”, the Foreign Minister said.
“However, one thing is clear - relations are impossible without dialogue, and everyone understands this well. The fact that unfair approaches have been implemented towards Georgia is gradually becoming clear to many, and there is a growing recognition in Europe that Georgia is being treated unjustly”, she concluded.
