Georgian Parliament Speaker Shalva Papuashvili on Tuesday claimed that the domestic opposition was generally confused, rendering any analysis of their actions, decisions, or statements meaningless.
Papuashvili made these remarks to journalists while responding to a question regarding criticism of the former President Salome Zourabichvili from some opposition representatives.
“The only thing they follow are instructions received from the outside. That’s why they don’t engage with the Georgian people and don’t speak to them. Instead, they seek out other countries and other nations, as they are representing foreign interests”, the Parliament Speaker said.
