Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze on Monday said his Government had tightened the legislation on drug-related crimes.
In his remarks, Kobahkhidze noted that the practical implementation of the law was even more important than tightening the law itself.
“We have strengthened the legislation in this area, and it is crucial that the Interior Ministry follows this step by further increasing its activity”, the PM said.
“This is one of the most significant challenges our country must fight, and accordingly, maximum attention will continue to be directed towards ensuring that we defeat this very important affliction. This is very important for society”, he concluded.
