Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze on Friday dismissed recent statements made by Estonian Foreign Minister Margus Tsahkna, calling him a mere executor of Deep State directives who attempted to deliver intimidating messages.
In his remarks, Kobakhidze noted that these messages had never instilled fear in the Georgian public and would not do so in the future.
Speaking to journalists, the Prime Minister downplayed concerns over visa liberalisation with the EU, stating that the issue was completely irrelevant at this time.
“This particular person is so frivolous that I cannot make a serious comment on him. As for visa liberalisation, I think we should not expect any changes here. Tsahkna is one of the executors of the deep state’s orders, who occasionally voices what he believes to be intimidating messages. However, the Georgian public has never been frightened by such rhetoric in previous years, nor will it be in the future”, the PM said,
“Tsahkna should ook after his own country. I think that this issue is absolutely irrelevant today, it is simply a specific task that the Foreign Minister carried out in Estonia”, he concluded.
