Mamuka Mdinaradze, the Executive Secretary of the ruling Georgian Dream party, on Saturday responded to the United States President Donald Trump’s endorsement of the Republican Senator Jim Risch, stating that the situation presented two possible outcomes.
In a social media message, Mdinaradze noted that Trump’s support for Risch in the Idaho’s elections was expected, as he would not have endorsed a Democrat candidate.
However, he emphasised that Risch had always been distinguished by the special support of the deep state's agent network and by voicing the so-called narratives of the deep state itself.
“Yesterday's excitement of the United National Movement opposition was primarily based on Trump's endorsement of the Republican [Senator] Jim Risch in the Idaho state elections. Naturally, Trump would not have endorsed a Democrat [candidate]”, the ruling party official said.
“However, for the sake of objectivity, it should be noted that Senator Risch has always been distinguished by the special support of the deep state's agent network and by voicing the so-called narratives of the deep state itself”, he continued.
Mdinaradze further proposed two possible future scenarios by noting that “either Senator Risch will clearly distance himself from his past political affiliations, or the suspicion that the deep state continues to hold its positions will be reinforced”.
“Therefore, there can only be two future assumptions - either Jim Risch will clearly distance himself from his own political past (by the way, he has indeed refrained from attacking us since Trump's presidency), or the unfortunate suspicion that the deep state still maintains its positions will be reinforced”, he noted.
Mdinaradze emphasised the importance of truth for Georgia and its society, stating that it was one of their main weapons.
