Rati Ionatamishvili, the Chair of the Georgian Parliament’s Human Rights and Civil Integration Committee, on Friday said the domestic radical opposition's configuration was irrelevant to the public.
In his remarks, Ionatamishvili has criticised the radical opposition, stating that they lack independent opinions.
“We have a radical opposition that does not even have its own opinion. Everything is so mixed up within them that their configuration holds no significance for society”, the Parliament official said.
“They have already been significantly defeated, both as a united force and individually - first and foremost, by the Georgian people. Naturally, the verdict delivered by our society against them is final and cannot be appealed. These individuals are mere puppets acting on the orders of their patrons. In their actions, they have no regard for the country's interests or even the opinions of their remaining supporters, who are almost non-existent. These are people who do not deserve any trust or support”, he concluded.
