Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze on Friday said his Government was “closely” monitoring political developments both in the United States and the European Union.
In his remarks, Kobakhidze noted that there were noticeable shifts in the approach of the new US administration, while the European Union remained consistent in its stance, particularly regarding the ongoing war in Ukraine.
“We must monitor the development of events. The most important thing is to remain fully focused on protecting our national interests. This is our top priority and main objective”, the PM said.
Kobakhidze’s remarks come at a time of significant geopolitical changes, with Georgia carefully navigating its foreign policy to safeguard national interests amid global uncertainties.
