Mamuka Mdinaradze, the Executive Secretary of the ruling Georgian Dream party, on Wednesday said the deep state had lost parliamentary elections in the country.
Addressing the opposition's criticism regarding legislative initiatives introduced by the ruling party, Mdinaradze noted “an agent does not welcome any norm or enforcement mechanism that would restrict their operational space”.
He further stressed that the deep state agent network was operating in the country.
“This is a malicious scheme and plan created by the deep state and its agent network in relation to Georgia in order to harm the country's interests. [...]. In reality, one main thing is happening - the deep state, no matter how hard it is to believe, lost the [parliamentary] elections in Georgia, and representatives of the domestic agent network of the deep state participated in these elections, they were supported by representatives of the European bureaucracy”, Mdinaradze said.
