Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze on Tuesday congratulated Bidzina Ivanishvili, the founder and Honorary Chair of the ruling Georgian Dream party, on his birthday by emphasising the critical role he had played in Georgia’s stability over the years.
“I congratulate Mr. Bidzina Ivanishvili on his birthday! Recent developments have made it even clearer how precarious Georgia’s situation has been, especially in the past four years. If not for Bidzina Ivanishvili, Georgia and the Georgian people would be facing a much more severe crisis, even worse than what Ukraine and its people are experiencing today”, the Prime Minister said.
He further credited Ivanishvili with instilling a culture of patience and perseverance in state governance - an aspect he believes was long missing in Georgia.
Kobakhidze noted that the country had suffered greatly due to excessive emotions and impatience, leading to wars, foreign influence, and economic struggles in the past, adding that under Ivanishvili’s leadership, Georgia had navigated significant challenges, maintained 12 years of continuous peace, and achieved rapid economic progress.
Concluding his message, the Prime Minister once again congratulated Ivanishvili on his birthday and expressed his deep appreciation for his contributions to Georgia’s statehood and development.
