Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze on Tuesday expressed hope that there would be fewer attacks on the Georgian state from European bureaucrats, emphasising the importance of improving Georgia-EU relations.
Speaking to journalists in Dubai, he underscored that European bureaucrats should not obstruct the development of ties between Georgia and the European Union.
“I strongly hope that the European Union will focus more on solving its own problems and that we will see fewer attacks from European bureaucrats on our statehood and the Georgian state”, the PM said.
The Prime Minister reiterated that “strong” Georgia-EU relations were crucial, but European bureaucrats should not hinder its progress.
