Georgian Foreign Minister Maka Botchorishvili on Tuesday emphasised the significance of the World Governments Summit as a valuable platform for dialogue with partner countries.
In her remarks, Botchorishvili noted that the Summit was bringing together high-level delegations, and Georgia’s participation was crucial for making “our voice” heard in this international forum.
“In addition to engaging in the Summit’s discussions, we also have the opportunity to hold bilateral meetings with representatives of various countries and high-ranking delegations. While the main focus is on economic topics, the summit's agenda covers a wide range of critical global issues that are also relevant for Georgia. These discussions will contribute to strengthening economic ties as well as fostering bilateral relations with different nations”, the FM said.
Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze will participate in the World Governments Summit, which will take place in Dubai between Tuesday and Thursday.
Kobakhidze will address the participants of the summit with a keynote speech, the Government Administration said.
Kobakhidze is traveling to Dubai along with a delegation that includes First Vice Prime Minister and Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development Levan Davitashvili, Minister of Foreign Affairs Maka Botchorishvili, Minister of Justice Anri Okhanashvili, and Head of the Government Administration Levan Zhorzholiani.
