Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze on Monday said the Georgian Dream Government had managed to avoid a Ukrainian scenario in the country.
In his interview with the Swiss weekly magazine Die Weltwoche, Kobakhidze noted that being a politician was not “easy”, particularly in Georgia, due to the numerous challenges and threats the country was facing both internally and externally.
“When you are a politician and hold a high position, you feel a certain power to positively influence the country's development”, the PM said.
“We have managed to maintain peace in the country. When we recall that our Government managed to prevent a Ukrainian scenario in our country, it naturally brings a sense of satisfaction. This serves as a kind of compensation for the difficulties associated with political activities in Georgia”, he concluded.
