Archil Gorduladze, the Chair of the Georgian Parliament’s Committee on Legal Affairs, on Tuesday said that the OSCE was one of the last strongholds where the influence of the so-called Global War Party did not extend, but has now also fallen, with its resolutions against Georgia having no real value.
Commenting on recent OSCE Parliamentary Assembly decisions, Gorduladze criticised the organisation for aligning with external political agendas and attacking Georgia for refusing to follow certain instructions.
“The OSCE was one of the last strongholds where the influence of the so-called Global War Party did not extend, but apparently it, too, has fallen. The OSCE's resolutions have the same value as the resolutions of the European Parliament or the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe - they are worth only the paper on which they are printed”, he said.
The official claimed that the only reason for the attacks on Georgian society was Georgia’s refusal to obey the instructions of the Global War Party.
“There is no basis in reality, no legal or political argument, for why Georgian society could be attacked, except for one reason: Georgia does not follow the instructions of the Global War Party”, Gorduladze concluded.
