Georgian Parliament Speaker Shalva Papuashvili on Monday claimed the OSCE’s recent resolution was a typical example of creating disinformation narratives.
In his remarks, Papuashvili noted that the resolution was completely based on falsehood, criticising the OSCE for undermining international law.
“The OSCE’s resolution is a typical example of creating disinformation narratives. [The US Congressman] Joe Wilson and other European anti-Georgians are involved in fabricating such texts, which are outright lies, disinformation, which is spread by the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly”, the Speaker said.
“The fact that the international order based on international rules has been violated is not only Russia’s contribution to this. It is precisely the contribution of such assemblies, namely, in this case, the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly, which has completely undermined international law, the basic principles of law, and, like Russia, has become an underminer of the international order based on international rules”, he concluded.
