Azerbaijani President approves agreement on gas supplies to Georgia

Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev on Friday approved an agreement on gas supplies to Georgia.

The decree issued by Aliyev noted that the agreement signed between the governments of Azerbaijan and Georgia on May 18, 2026, would enter into force today.

The Azerbaijani Economy Ministry was instructed to properly implement the provisions of the document, and the Foreign Ministry was instructed to inform the Georgian Government about the completion of internal state procedures.
