Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze on Thursday dismissed a resolution adopted by the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE), describing it as politically biased and filled with falsehoods and inaccuracies.
Commenting on the resolution, Kobakhidze said the document holds “no value” for Georgia or its society, arguing that both PACE and the European Parliament were in a very difficult state, which was reflected in the content of such texts.
“The resolution contains numerous falsehoods and inaccuracies. Beyond that, the document is absolutely politically biased in its content. Such documents have no value for our country or for Georgian society. The Georgian public has learned very well how to assess these kinds of documents and understands what lies behind them. Therefore, these documents have no value”, Kobakhidze said.
