The Anti-Corruption Agency of the State Security Service of Georgia continues its dedicated operations to detect and prevent all forms of corruption until the nation's stated objectives are fully realized, said on Monday Emzar Gagnidze, the director of the Georgian State Security Service’s Anti-Corruption Agency.
In his remarks, Gagnidze noted that the primary goal remains for Georgia to maintain its position as one of the leading countries globally with the lowest levels of corruption.
Following a large-scale anti-corruption operation conducted by Agency officers across various regions of Georgia, 30 individuals have been detained and charged in connection with corrupt activities identified across 12 separate criminal cases.
