Georgian Interior Minister Geka Geladze on Thursday said that Georgia’s fight against drug-related crimes had significantly intensified in recent months.
In his remarks, Geladze noted that drug-related crimes remained a global challenge, and Georgia was no exception.
“In this area, as we promised the public, the state has taken very effective steps - both in terms of legislative changes and police measures. We have launched substantial reforms. These processes will not stop; they will continue, and we will be able to achieve even more in combating drug-related crime”, he said.
