Both sides emphasised the importance of dialogue and mutual support between Georgia and Moldova amid a complex geopolitical environment.
The Moldovan side expressed appreciation for Georgia’s consistent policy of protecting its sovereignty and traditional values in a turbulent international context.
The parties also discussed practical cooperation, particularly in tourism, facilitated by direct flights, and the development of people-to-people contacts.
Speaker Papuashvili briefed the guests on the legislative activities of the Georgian Parliament and the results achieved so far.
He also reaffirmed his readiness to continue dialogue with the Moldovan side.
The meeting was also attended by Isko Daseni, head of the Georgia–Moldova Parliamentary Friendship Group.
