Georgian PM stresses importance of dialogue, diplomacy in meeting with Pezeshkian

Relations between Georgia and Iran, including positive cooperation in tourism, were discussed on Friday in a meeting between Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze and Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian on the sidelines of the UN Convention on Biological Diversity in Yerevan.

The two leaders also exchanged views on the regional situation.

Prime Minister Kobakhidze once again underscored the particular importance of dialogue and diplomatic efforts in achieving de-escalation and ensuring lasting peace.
