Successful cooperation between Georgia and Slovakia as well as the deepening of the existing dialogue between the two nations were discussed on Thursday in a face-to-face meeting between the Georgian president Mikheil Kavelashvili, who is on an official visit to Bratislava, and his Slovak counterpart Peter Pellegrini.
The meeting emphasised the importance of activating the dynamics of bilateral visits and developing cooperation in various sectors between the two countries.
As Kavelashvili noted, in an era of unprecedented global challenges and risks, it was especially valuable for Georgia to further strengthen bilateral cooperation with Slovakia and support each other in international formats.
The Georgian president thanked his Slovak counterpart for supporting Georgia on its path to European integration as well as for the efforts made to preserve the Georgia-EU partnership.
Kavelashvili highlighted that Georgia appreciated Slovakia's support for Georgia's sovereignty and territorial integrity.
