Georgian FM expresses deep concern over drone attacks in Nakhchivan in call with Azerbaijani counterpart

Georgian foreign minister Maka Botchorishvili on Thursday held a telephone conversation with her Azerbaijani counterpart Jeyhun Bayramov.

Georgian minister expressed deep concern regarding the drone attacks carried out in the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic of Azerbaijan, which resulted in injuries to several citizens.

Botchorishvili emphasised the importance of maintaining peace and stability in the region.

The ministers reaffirmed the strength of the existing strategic and friendly relations between Georgia and Azerbaijan.
