We want to emphasise our readiness to promote peace and stability in the South Caucasus region, and in this regard, Georgia will spare no effort, said on Wednesday the Georgian prime minister Irakli Kobakhidze at a joint briefing with his Armenian counterpart Nikol Pashinyan.
Expressing gratitude for Pashinyan’s personal contribution to strengthening cooperation and friendship between the two countries, Kobakhidze highlighted the positive dynamics in regional collaboration.
“We are pleased with the very positive momentum in developing cooperation in the region. Today, during the intergovernmental commission, we emphasized the historic peace agreement signed between Armenia and Azerbaijan. These positive developments provide an excellent foundation for all of us to ensure stability and maintain peace in our region. In this context, we would like to once again emphasise our readiness to promote peace and stability in the region. In this regard, Georgia will spare no effort”, the PM said.
“I also want to stress the exceptional partnership between our countries. This partnership, friendship, and cooperation serve as a model, and it is our responsibility to do our utmost to further deepen this collaboration and friendship between our peoples. Finally, I would like to thank prime minister Nikol Pashinyan for his outstanding personal contribution to strengthening cooperation and friendship between our two countries”, he concluded.
