Georgian Foreign Minister Maka Botchorishvili on Monday said the World Governments Summit, set to be held in Dubai between Tuesday and Thursday, was an important international event that was bringing together high-level political and business representatives.
In her remarks, Botchorishvili noted that the Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze’s participation in the Summit was creating the best opportunities from both a political and economic perspective.
“The World Governments Summit is an important event that brings together high-level guests, both Government and business representatives. The Prime Minister’s participation in this event is the best opportunity for bilateral political dialogue, as well as meetings with business circles and discussions on Georgia’s investment potential”, the FM said.
She further added that Kobakhidze would be involved in various events and hold bilateral meetings within the framework of the Summit.
“The Prime Minister will participate in several events within the framework of the Summit. Bilateral meetings are also planned, both with leaders of various states and representatives of business circles. This is certainly the best opportunity to conduct political dialogue with various states in accordance with Georgia's interests”, Botchorishvili concluded.
