Georgia’s US Ambassador, US Senator discuss bilateral relations

Prospects of further developing US-Georgian relations were discussed on Friday in a meeting between Tamar Taliashvili, Georgia’s Ambassador to the United States, and the United States Senator Markwayne Mullin.

Taliashvili underscored Senator Mullin’s personal contribution to the strengthening of bilateral relations, expressing gratitude toward him for being a true friend of Georgia.

The discussion touched upon the situation in the region, relevant events and the significance of the United States President Trump’s peace initiative.

The parties also exchanged views regarding the existing opportunities on the international level.
