Georgian President Mikheil Kavelashvili on Tuesday met with Turkmen Foreign Minister Rashid Meredov to discuss strengthening political, economic, and cultural cooperation between the two countries.
Kavelashvili extended his gratitude to the Turkmen Government for its consistent support of Georgia’s sovereignty and territorial integrity.
The President emphasised the importance of further developing relations between Georgia and Turkmenistan, noting that both countries share a strategic interest in promoting regional stability, connectivity, and prosperity.
“We are ready to deepen bilateral cooperation in political, economic, and cultural directions and contribute to better utilising the potential of the South Caucasus and Central Asia regions, as well as creating greater prosperity for our countries, which, in turn, will contribute to the formation of a just and peaceful multipolar international order”, Kavelashvili said.
The discussions also highlighted the potential for enhanced collaboration across trade, infrastructure, and cultural exchange.
