Chinese Ambassador congratulates Georgian PM on local election victory

Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze on Monday met with Zhou Qian, the Ambassador of China to Georgia.

During the meeting, the diplomat congratulated the Prime Minister on the ruling party’s decisive victory in the recent local self-government elections.

The discussions focused on the positive momentum in the development of the strategic partnership between Georgia and China.

Ambassador Zhou also extended an official invitation from the Chinese side to Prime Minister Kobakhidze to attend the 8th China International Import Expo, scheduled to take place in Shanghai from November 5 to 10.
