Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze took part in a panel discussion focused on Europe’s economic security, Georgian Foreign Minister Maka Botchorishvili on Thursday told journalists in Copenhagen.
According to Botchorishvili, Georgia plays a crucial role in strengthening Europe’s economic security, particularly in terms of connectivity with diverse markets.
“One of the main issues highlighted in our remarks was precisely this. We also underlined Georgia’s achievements. Today, Georgia is recognised as one of the region’s most successful economies, which is important for Europe’s overall economic security”, the FM said.
In addition, within the framework of the European Political Community Summit, Georgia joined France’s initiative aimed at strengthening the fight against drugs. Botchorishvili stressed that the issue remains a serious challenge for European countries and beyond.
