Fruitful cooperation between Georgia and the Organisation for Security and Cooperation in Europe was discussed on Thursday in a meeting between the Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze and Feridun Sinirlioğlu, the OSCE Secretary General, on the sidelines of the European Political Community Summit in Copenhagen.
The officials reviewed the current political situation in the country and the upcoming local self-government elections scheduled for Saturday.
“We touched on all the key topics - especially those of interest to the OSCE. We discussed the local self-government elections and presented the general situation regarding the organisation of these elections. We also talked about various ongoing processes in the country, developments in the region, and issues related to bilateral cooperation”, the PM said.
