Bilateral relations and close cooperation that reflects the nature of a strategic partnership were discussed on Tuesday in a meeting between Georgian Foreign Minister Maka Botchorishvili and her Hungarian counterpart Péter Szijjártó on the sidelines of the United Nations General Assembly.
The ministers also discussed relations with the European Union and matters related to Georgia’s EU integration process.
Botchorishvili thanked her Hungarian counterpart for Hungary’s support of Georgia’s European aspirations, both at the political level and through practical and expert assistance.
It was noted that both sides would continue joint efforts in this direction.
The importance of maintaining the active dynamic of high-level visits and further developing sectoral cooperation was also emphasised.
