Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the President of the United Arab Emirates, on Friday expressed his deep satisfaction with his visit to Georgia, emphasising the shared vision of the two nations for stability, peace, and strengthened relations between their peoples.
In his remarks, Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed highlighted the growing partnership between Georgia and the UAE and pledged to further deepen cooperation in key sectors, including trade, business, energy, and culture.
“Dear friend, Mr. Prime Minister, I am very happy with my visit to Georgia. Meeting you again after our meeting in Abu Dhabi is a confirmation of the continuation of our cooperation. I take this opportunity to congratulate you on your birthday. I wish you success, a happy life, and good health”, he told Irakli Kobakhidze.
The President underlined the close connection between the two countries, noting that the partnership would be reinforced through new projects and initiatives aimed at boosting bilateral cooperation.
“There is a close connection between Georgia and the UAE. This will be further proven by deepening our cooperation and implementing many more projects, particularly in trade, business, economy, industry, and energy sectors, which are priorities for both countries. I would like to note the growth in trade relations between our countries, which amounts to millions of dollars. This cooperation extends to significant volumes, and there is no doubt that economic cooperation between our two countries will continue, especially in the transport sector. The UAE will facilitate the development of partnerships in accordance with agreements implemented by various investment companies. This strengthens the relationship between Georgia and the UAE. Our two countries share a common vision for stability, peace, and people-to-people relations”, he noted.
He also emphasised the cultural dimension of bilateral relations, describing the exchange of heritage and values as an essential foundation for development.
“Both countries also participate in deepening cooperation in the cultural sphere and sharing rich heritage, which forms the foundation for our countries’ development. I want to assure you that the UAE will strengthen partnerships amongst the countries of the Caucasus region in general and promote stability, peace, and common interests. Peace is the fundamental pillar for economic development and strengthening. Once again, I thank you and wish Georgia and the Georgian people stability, development, and success”, he concluded.
