Georgian Ambassador, US Senator discuss “opening of new chapter” in US-Georgian relations

Tamar Taliashvili, the Georgian Ambassador to the United States, on Thursday held a meeting with Republican Senator Steve Daines on Capitol Hill.

Following the meeting, Ambassador Taliashvili shared her impressions on social media.

“It was my pleasure to meet with the US Senator Steve Daines, a true patriot. We discussed the opening of a new chapter in the US-Georgian relations, strengthening of the existing ties, as well as the importance of peace and prosperity in our region”, the Georgian ambassador said.
