Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha on Tuesday extended his gratitude to his Georgian counterpart Maka Botchorishvili for Georgia’s steadfast support of Ukraine’s sovereignty and territorial integrity amid Russia’s ongoing military aggression.
In a letter addressed to Georgia’s Foreign Minister, Sybiha thanked his Georgian counterpart for extending congratulations on the occasion of Ukraine’s Independence Day.
The Ukrainian Foreign Minister stressed that Kyiv and Tbilisi share the potential to foster stability in the Black Sea region.

The letter also highlighted the importance of multilateral cooperation, particularly through the GUAM (Georgia, Ukraine, Azerbaijan, Moldova) framework.
“I consider the GUAM framework an effective mechanism for our multilateral regional cooperation and look forward to the next meeting of the GUAM Council of Ministers of Foreign Affairs, which will take place within the framework of the 80th session of the UN General Assembly”, he noted.
