Georgian Parliament official, Italian Ambassador discuss multilateral cooperation

Bilateral and multilateral cooperation between Italy and Georgia were discussed on Monday in a meeting between Levan Makhashvili, the Chair of the Committee on European Integration of the Georgian Parliament, and Massimiliano D'Antuono, the Italian Ambassador to the country.

"In a friendly and professional atmosphere, I discussed bilateral and multilateral cooperation between Italy and Georgia with the Italian Ambassador. We also talked about the relations between the parliaments of the two countries”, Makhashvili said in a social media message.

The officials reviewed the process of European Union integration and the steps taken by the Parliament of Georgia in this regard.

“I thanked the Italian Ambassador for Italy’s support of Georgia”, he noted.
