UAE leaders congratulate Georgian President, PM on Independence Day

Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the President of the United Arab Emirates, on Monday congratulated the Georgian President Mikheil Kavelashvili on the occasion of Independence Day.

Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, and Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, theVice President, Deputy Prime Minister and Chairman of the Presidential Court, sent two similar messages to Kavelashvili as well as the Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze.

Georgia’s Independence Day is celebrated annually on May 26. This date commemorates the adoption of the Act of Independence on May 26, 1918, when the Democratic Republic of Georgia was established following the collapse of the Russian Empire. The Act declared Georgia’s independence, marking a significant moment in the nation’s history.
