Georgian, Azerbaijani Presidents review strategic partnership

Deepening of bilateral cooperation between Georgia and Azerbaijan across various sectors, including trade and economic cooperation were discussed on Wednesday in a meeting between the Georgian President Mikheil Kavelashvili and his Azerbaijani counterpart Ilham Aliyev.

The meeting highlighted the importance of the exemplary strategic partnership between the two nations.

The Georgian President extended his gratitude to his Azerbaijani counterpart for his support for Georgia's territorial integrity and sovereignty.

The meeting also emphasised the importance of peace and stability in the South Caucasus region.

Kavelashvili confirmed Georgia's readiness to continue contributing to the process of promoting dialogue and diplomacy in the South Caucasus region in the future.

The leaders also discussed joint large-scale strategic projects and prospects for further deepening cooperation.
