Ongoing cooperation between Georgia and the OSCE was discussed on Saturday in a meeting between the Georgian Foreign Minister Maka Botchorishvili and Feridun Sinirlioğlu, the Secretary General of the Organisation for Security and Cooperation in Europe, on the sidelines of the ongoing Antalya Diplomacy Forum.
A key part of the conversation centred on the situation in Georgia’s Russian-occupied territories.
Botchorishvili and Sinirlioğlu underscored the OSCE’s important role in conflict resolution, especially through its co-chairmanship of the Geneva International Discussions and its involvement in the Incident Prevention and Response Mechanism in Ergneti.
Both parties emphasised the importance of keeping Georgia’s territorial integrity and occupation-related issues on the OSCE’s active agenda.
The meeting also addressed broader developments within Georgia and deepened cooperation with OSCE participating states and institutions.
