Nikoloz Samkharadze, the Chair of the Foreign Relations Committee of the Georgian Parliament, on Wednesday highlighted security and economic relations as the primary focus of discussions with the Serbian Foreign Minister.
In his remarks, Samkharadze noted that discussions had focused on Georgia’s Russian-occupied territories, regional stability, and foreign policy priorities.
“Our discussion focused primarily on security issues, as well as the development of economic relations. We discussed the situation in the occupied territories and provided information on the developments in Abkhazia and Tskhinvali region”, the Parliament official said.
“The Serbian side also gave a detailed explanation of the situation in Kosovo. Additionally, we talked about the broader regional developments, including the Armenia-Azerbaijan peace agreement and Georgia’s role in the process”, Samkharadze concluded.
