Irakli Mezurnishvili, an MP from the ruling Georgian Dream party, on Wednesday highlighted the importance of the meeting between the Georgian parliamentary delegation and the Serbian Foreign Minister Marko Đurić.
Mezurnishvili, who is part of a Georgian delegation currently on an official visit to Belgrade, noted that the situation in the world was changing very quickly, and Georgia needed as many allies as possible, especially in European space.
“Today, there will be a very important meeting with the Serbian Foreign Minister. Serbia has achieved significant success in information technology, and I believe that sharing Serbia's experience will be very important for our country”, the Georgian MP said.
“As you know, the situation in the world is changing very quickly, and we need as many allies as possible, especially in the European space. Therefore, it is very encouraging that Serbia supports us. Serbia is a stable partner, a friend, and this meeting will be aimed at further deepening our relations”, he concluded.
