Georgian Ambassador to Romania: Romania reaffirms support for Georgia's EU integration

Tamar Beruchashvili, the Georgian Ambassador to Romania, on Thursday said Romania had once again pledged its unwavering support for Georgia's European integration, offering to share its experience and provide guidance to facilitate the political process.
In her remarks, Beruchashvili emphasised that that path of European integration was a path that Georgia and Romania must walk together.
“It has been reaffirmed that Romania is ready to stand by Georgia on this path and share all its experience, as well as provide certain advice that will facilitate the political process and actively engage with our partners alongside Georgia, as the path to European integration is a journey we must undertake together. This was clearly stated”, the Georgian Ambassador said.
The visit of the Georgian parliamentary delegation to Romania is ongoing. The chairs of the Foreign Relations and European Integration Committees have held meetings in the Romanian Parliament to further strengthen bilateral cooperation.
