Kazakhstan’s President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev on Thursday congratulated the Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze on his reappointment, emphasising that this well-deserved decision reflected his strong leadership within the country.
Tokayev highlighted the close and friendly relations between Kazakhstan and Georgia, noting the potential for further economic growth and mutual benefits in bilateral cooperation.
“Congratulations on your reappointment as the Prime Minister of Georgia. Georgia is a very important partner for Kazakhstan, and your well-deserved appointment is a testament to your strong leadership in your country. I wish you success in your role”, Tokayev said.
He also highlighted the significant progress Georgia had made under Kobakhidze’s leadership in recent years.
“We closely monitor Georgia’s economic development. As far as I know, last year the economy grew by 9.4 percent, which is an impressive result. Georgia is a friendly country to Kazakhstan”, the Kazakh President noted.
“We have the opportunity to assess this economic growth, which will, of course, benefit our bilateral cooperation. Your visit to Kazakhstan is very important, and I am confident that it will contribute to furthering our cooperation and relations in many important strategic areas”, Tokayev concluded.
