An official welcoming ceremony for Uzbek President Shavkat Mirziyoyev was held this Thursday at Georgia’s Presidential Palace.
As part of the visit, Mirziyoyev is scheduled to hold meetings with Georgian President Mikheil Kavelashvili and Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze.
The two sides are expected to sign agreements and memorandums of understanding covering cooperation in various fields.
During his visit, the Uzbek President will also lay a wreath at the Memorial to the heroes who died for Georgia's unity and attend the unveiling ceremony of the monument to Uzbek poet Alisher Navoi.
