The significance of establishing a strategic partnership between Georgia and Kazakhstan was discussed on Monday during a meeting between Georgian Foreign Minister Maka Botchorishvili and her Kazakh counterpart, Yermek Kosherbayev, ahead of the Georgian Prime Minister’s visit to Kazakhstan.
The parties noted that this would mark the beginning of a new chapter in Georgia-Kazakhstan relations and serve as a catalyst for broader and more comprehensive cooperation between the two countries.
The officials reviewed prospects for advancing bilateral relations and emphasised the importance of sustaining regular dialogue and exchanges at the highest and high political levels.
Particular attention was paid to cooperation between Georgia and Kazakhstan in advancing the development of the Middle Corridor, as well as to enhancing trade and economic relations between the two countries.
