Georgia’s participation in the World Governments Summit is another important opportunity to present the country’s potential in a worthy manner, particularly in terms of investment, said on Wednesday Mariam Kvrivishvili, the Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia.
Georgia’s delegation, led by Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze, is taking part in the World Governments Summit currently underway in Dubai.
In her remarks, Kvrivishvili noted that the visit of the Georgian delegation to the United Arab Emirates was significant in multiple respects.
She added that in his opening address the Prime Minister briefed the audience on Georgia’s progress and achievements across the economy and several other areas, and further reviewed major infrastructure projects.
Kvrivishvili further highlighted that within the framework of the visit, the Georgian delegation held several important meetings with world leaders, as well as with existing and potential investors and representatives of the private sector. Among them, members of the Georgian delegation participated in a roundtable discussion held as part of the summit on the future of investment.
“This is another opportunity for us to attract potential investors to make investments in Georgia. At the same time, we held meetings with world leaders and government representatives, where we discussed strengthening bilateral relations, particularly trade and economic ties”, she concluded.
