The Georgian Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development on Wednesday announced that Georgia’s economy continued to demonstrate remarkable resilience, posting a 7.2% growth in November 2025, with steady expansion across multiple sectors and robust foreign trade. The average economic growth between January and November amounted to 7.5%.
In November, VAT-paying enterprises saw their turnover rise by 10.1% compared to the same month last year.
Additionally, the business environment remained dynamic, with 6,059 new enterprises registered during the month.
October’s economic performance was notably driven by growth in the transport and storage sector, manufacturing, real estate, financial and insurance activities, and mining, all contributing significantly to the overall economic expansion.
Foreign trade also played a critical role in supporting high economic growth. From January to November, exports increased by 10.1%, reaching a total of 6.6 billion USD. Domestic exports, excluding re-exports, grew by 8.7% over the same period.
Tourism revenues also showed a strong upward trend. Between January and September, income from travel and tourism rose by 5.1% year-on-year, achieving a record high of 3.6 billion USD.
In November 2025, Fitch improved Georgia’s rating outlook, reflecting the economy’s resilience to external shocks.
International financial institutions and rating agencies highlighted that prudent macroeconomic policies continue to support Georgia’s strong economic performance.
