Georgian football star Khvicha Kvaratskhelia on Saturday expressed overwhelming joy and gratitude after winning the Champions League with Paris Saint-Germain, describing the moment as the realisation of a childhood dream and thanking God for his blessings.
In his interview with Imedi TV, Kvaratskhelia shared his heartfelt reflections on achieving his lifelong dream.
“It’s an incredible happiness, dreams really do come true. I’m very happy - it’s hard to put into words. Thank you all so much for the support. I go out on the field to score goals and to win. It’s an amazing feeling - maybe different from every other goal”, Kvaratskhelia said.

Reflecting on the season, Kvaratskhelia celebrated winning every possible title, including Serie A with Napoli and Ligue 1, Coupe de France, and the Champions League with PSG.
“Of course, positively. I’ve won everything that was possible, and I’m very happy. I’m so emotionally exhausted that it’s hard to talk, but first of all, I want to thank everyone who has been by my side. We still have many dreams ahead of us. I thank God, because when you work hard and it all comes back to you - I’m grateful for that. I thank Him for giving me this day”, he noted.
“At that moment, I was thinking of the little boy who had this dream - everything I went through with football flashed before my eyes”, Kvaratskhelia concluded.
