Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze has extended New Year’s greetings to all citizens of the country, compatriots living abroad, as well as Georgians, Abkhazians, and Ossetians residing in Abkhazia and the Tskhinvali region (Samachablo).
In his message, the Prime Minister noted that 2025 was a year full of challenges, yet at the same time a successful one for Georgia.
“I congratulate teachers, doctors, artists, public servants, soldiers, police officers, judges, prosecutors, representatives of security agencies, entrepreneurs, farmers, peasants, workers, and representatives of all professions”, the PM said.
He emphasised that the New Year is a holiday associated with hope for the fulfillment of dreams and the achievement of goals.
“This is exactly what I wish for each of you and your families - the realisation of your dreams and the accomplishment of all your goals”, the Government head continued.
He further added that despite the difficulties, 2025 marked significant progress for the country.
“Over the past year, we further strengthened peace in Georgia, reinforced the country’s independence and sovereignty, and strengthened the Georgian economy, which for the first time in history exceeded 100 billion. The past year was also pivotal in terms of improving the system of state governance and strengthening the rule of law”, the PM noted.
Kobakhidze concluded by stressing that the foundations laid in 2025 create solid prerequisites for the coming year to be even more successful for Georgia.
