Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze, accompanied by Minister of Education, Science, and Youth Givi Mikanadze, Minister of Foreign Affairs Maka Botchorishvili, and Giorgi Kakhiani, the Head of the Parliamentary Friendship Group with Ukraine, on Saturday met with Ukrainian students currently enjoying a summer camp experience in Georgia.
The camp is financially supported by the Georgian Government.
The Prime Minister and the accompanying ministers engaged in conversations with the children and hosted them for dinner, fostering a warm and welcoming environment.
The summer camp, running from June 30 to July 20, is hosting two groups of Ukrainian children, including those of Ukrainian military personnel and fighters who lost their lives in the war.
Throughout their two-week stay, the Ukrainian students are participating in a variety of cultural, educational, and entertainment activities.
They are also enjoying excursions to significant Georgian locations such as Tbilisi, Sighnaghi, and Bodbe.
