Georgian President extends congratulations on Day of Family Purity, Respect for Parents

Georgian President Mikheil Kavelashvili on Saturday marked the Day of Family Purity and Respect for Parents with a message highlighting the foundational role of the family in shaping Georgia’s future.

Kavelashvili addressed the public with a message celebrating the family as the core of national strength and spiritual development.

“Today we are celebrating the Day of Family Purity and Respect for Parents. A strong family creates a solid foundation for each person’s spiritual resilience, where we learn our first lessons about God’s love, compassion, warmth, empathy, and mutual respect. It is here that our national and Christian values are shaped - loyalty to the homeland, responsibility, and justice”, Kavelashvili said.

The President congratulated all citizens on this significant day and extended his wishes.

“The family is the place where generations grow who are entrusted with building the future of our country. Congratulations to everyone on this important day! I wish every family peace, love, and prosperity!” he concluded.
